Our lyceum student visiting the mayor
The mind is not a vessel that needs filling, but wood that needs igniting. There are the right words of the prominent Greek philosopher and moralist Plutarch.
The light of blazing torches and stars is daily mission and good tradition of the Richelieu Lyceum. Andrei Zinovyev confirmed it again. As a young developer, he made a successful start-up. Andrei won the first place in Ukrainian youth championship of business projects. He became a member of the national team that won silver in the international arena. World Championship of developing social and financial projects SAGE 2015 was held in Seoul and united students from around the world.
Ukrainian team, which included Andrei Zinoviev, took second place. The international jury appreciated the social project of our young developers - mobile application called "Help button", which allows you to call an ambulance by one click. "Help button" sends all the necessary information to medics: name, surname, and address of residence. Lyceum pupil Andrei Zinoviev was responsibe for the most difficult part of the project – the development of software. He has brilliantly coped with the task.
Being interested in successe and achievements of the Ukrainian national team, Gennady Trukhanov invited young developers for a visit. The ceremonial reception with presentation of diplomas and gifts was held in the mayor's office on January 26. The mayor offered to young geniuses to develop similar projects for Odessa.
We wish Andrei and his colleagues new ideas, successful projects and inexhaustible inspiration to make this world just a little better!
